Oversea Projects
Since the 1950s our company has began to undertake oversea engineering design projects in the light industry for our government. In recent years, with reform and open policy and with continual development of our foreign economic trade, our company has completed engineering design projects for light industry equipment package exported and undertaken engineering general contract for exported equipment package. In addition, our company has unitedly designed some oversea projects with foreign design companies. Up to now our company has completed 66 oversea projects of engineering design and general contract. They are respectively located in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, covering a lot of countries such as Guinea, Mali, Tanzania, Algeria, Albania, Malta, Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, Philippines, Cuba, Romania, etc. and the projects covered paper mills, cigarette factories, match factories, bicycle factories, pencil factories, ball pen factories, watch factories, food factories, plastic products factories, daily hardware factories, cosmetics factories, etc.
The completion of these oversea engineering projects not only promoted political, economical and technical cooperation and friendship between China and countries all over the world, but also was favourable to the economical development of these countries and the export of equipment package of our country. For example, in the 1980s the Korea ball pen factory which was unitedly designed by our company and the Korean design company, in the 1990s, the Cuba bicycle factory which was unitedly designed by our company and the Cuban design company and the Algeria toilet tissue factory which was general contracted by our company and was put into operation in 2006, all these projects have obtained apparent economical benefits and have been highly praised. Their products have been well sold and the equipment and technology adopted have been suitable to the demands of the countries.
